Henry the Dog needs a home
Henry caught my eye when I first saw him in the shelter. I knew I wanted to foster him. Unfortunately, when we heartworm tested him, he was positive. Thankfully, I was able to foster him through his treatment and know he is a healthy baby boy! Henry is best described as a bull in a china cabinet with a heart of gold. He has no clue that he is 75 lbs. He will jump up on you, he will sit in your lap. He will jump around like he's 15 lbs. We have been working on him learning not to jump up. He's better but once he's excited all bets are off. Henry is looking for a family that is experienced with large, awkward, goofy dogs.
He has played well with three fosters I have introduced him to. I think with a proper introduction, Henry will be fine with any dog, other than a dominate male. He does prefer to eat his groceries by himself so should be fed seperately. His favorite toy is his Nylabone. He can entertain himself for some time with one. He enjoys other toys as well but they need to be made for large dog that are strong chewers or he will just eat them.Henry is a great great boy! I have so enjoyed my time with him. He wants to be loved and to please you. He's just very big and strong so he need someone that has experience with big dogs and can handle that.
